I want to record my friend’s band’s live music on to my laptop. i have an asus Eee Pc n450 (specs http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/asus-eee-pc-1005pe/4505-3121_7-33911686.html) would this be possible and what do i need. i am not very tech savy so try to keep it simple, thank you

There are heaps of programs out there that will do this for you. Depending on your requirements [cost, quality etc]
Garage Band is a very popular one - but I think it is just for MACS.
