I’m just starting a music blog for up and coming artists.
I was just wondering whether I’m allowed to post a free download of one song for every couple of artists to help promote them?
I dont think so, it could be a breach of copyright. You should ask the bands if they’ll let you post a free download.
As long as you give credit to the artists then there is no problem. Free music is there to do exactly what you are wanting to do - Promote them
