I’m with you on that- Andromeda and Gunman didn’t do it for me like their earlier stuff. This is old skool Sprouts, the good stuff that I love!

I’m a huge fan of their earlier stuff, my favourite 80s band, all the LPs up to and including Jordan were awesome, but thought they went really downhill with all the slush on Andromeda Heights and MOR/ corniness on Cowboy Dreams. Although not quite up to their best, it’s good to hear a new uptempo Sprouts track (even if one out of the vaults) and I look forward to hearing the rest of the LP.

    This sounds fresh …
This sounds fresh and very 2009, amazing to think that it was written in back in the early nineties. It’s a return to the Sprout sound I love and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album. My only gripe is it does sound bit like it was recorded on Garageband and I do miss the sound of real drums and Wendy Smiths vocals but thats just a small moan because I want perfection having waited so long…its almost perfect though!

    This album does not …
This album does not feature new tracks. They were initially laid down in the “Jordan:The Comeback” period and inevitably may sound a little dated…but frankly when its this good who cares?

First listen and its decidedly average. By the fifth, its pure heaven.

Haha, what a funny, sunny popsong. As someone commented, this is surpringsinlgy “outward” music, considering, i.e., I trawl the… Sounds dated? Well, naturally it connect to the Jordan period, but I don’t agree at all that it sounds like a demo. There’s been a lot of polishing done on this.
