Im 20yrs old and i decided to take a break from school. I already have my associate’s and recently while on break i discovered that i dont think i want to continue school at this moment. My main question that i guess im trying to ask is,… (IS EDUCATION really necessary for the industry?) i mean its a hard industry to get into but i highly Doubt a piece of paper will assure me a career that i love in music. TO all that are in the music industry already, How DID u GET THERE? please HELP ME.

Well, I am not sure about producing or songwriting but if u start ur own record label then definetely u should stay in school, if u are a singer and are majoring in music, then definetely stay in school, it will help you get work
