Like if you went to see your favorite band live, would you want to hear the songs sound like the studio version or do you like the band to mix it up a little?

Ive seen on some peoples i-pods they have recordings of bands full performances playing live at music festivals etc. They have the hole performance start to finish as one track on their i-pod about an hour long etc.
Where can i download these?

How to record live music on my Laptop?
